QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Learn how our design studio works. FAQs on process, collaboration,
and what to expect when working with creative professionals.
Working with a Graphic Design Stutio

Design transforms businesses and strengthens connections with your customers. It’s a collaborative process between client and creative, built on clear communication. We take your ideas, translate them into purposeful visual concepts, and adapt them for print, web, or mobile — using the right tools for the job. Many clients aren’t familiar with how the design process works or their role in it. This FAQ gives clarity and answers common questions.

Designers are creative partners who turn your message into visual impact.

Please note: Design studios are businesses too. We do not work on a speculative (“free work”) basis and fully support NO!SPEC and ANTISPEC, which protect the value of design for clients and creatives alike.

Who is the right designer for your project?

Choosing the right creative partner depends on style, experience, budget, and availability. At CONXION, our goal is to bring your vision to life, not just throw together a concept. We guide you through options, explain why certain approaches work best, and offer solutions that are both creative and effective.

How do projects start?

Every project begins with a discovery session to understand objectives, scope, and deadlines. If we’re a good fit, we provide a proposal and contract. Work begins once the contract is signed and a 50% non-refundable deposit is received — securing your place in our schedule.

What is your design process?

Our process adapts to each project, but generally includes:

    1. Research & discovery
    2. Initial concepts (3–5 drafts)
    3. Client review and refinements (up to 3 rounds included)
    4. Final delivery in required formats (print, web, digital)

Extra revisions are billed hourly. Unlimited changes are not offered, as they reduce clarity and efficiency.

What are typical project timeframes?

Timeframes vary by type, complexity, and workload. Initial drafts usually take 1–2 weeks. Timely delivery of content (text, images, logos) is essential — delays on the client side can impact schedules.

How does pricing and payment work?

Costs depend on scope. All projects are contracted, with a 50% deposit required to begin. Final payment is due on completion or launch.

  • Hourly projects: invoiced mid- or end-month; due within 7 days.
  • Retainers: prepaid to secure ongoing creative support.
  • Rush fees: urgent deadlines may incur 50–200% additional charges.
  • Cancellation / Kill fees: may apply if projects are cancelled mid-production.

Printing costs are not included but can be quoted separately.

Do you provide ongoing updates and maintenance?

Yes. We create clean, functional, SEO-friendly websites and recommend regular updates. Maintenance is billed hourly or via monthly service blocks.
We can also implement a CMS allowing clients to update their site independently (additional cost).

Do you offer SEO services?

Yes — and they’re essential. Proper SEO ensures your site reaches the right audience and performs in search results. We integrate SEO during the design phase and monitor results with analytics

Do you offer domain registration and hosting?

Yes. Hosting and domain registration are provided, with annual prepayment on a dedicated server.

What are client responsibilities?

Clients must provide all content promptly and respond to feedback requests. Communication occurs via email, phone, or video during business hours. Delays can impact timelines.

Why aren’t prices listed on the website?

Pricing varies based on complexity and scope. Every project is unique, and estimates are tailored individually. Contact us for a consultation.

Do you have client references?

Yes. References are available on request, and client testimonials are published on our site.
